Spike (registered name Revelwood Geronimo) is a 12 year old Warmblood gelding who was born with a congenital condition called Lordosis. Lordosis is a condition which effects the development of the vertebrae at the wither and causes the spine to have a swayed appearance.

I purchased Spike in April of 2011 and since then he has followed me all over NSW. From Coffs Harbur (Glenreagh to Upper Orara), then to Sydney and now to the Hunter Valley (Lovedale, then Branxton and now he is agisted at Glendonbrook).

This is a blog for documenting his journey and to educate people about lordosis. We are out to dispel common misconceptions about lordosis and prove that horses with the condition can do just as much as normally conformed horses!

Thanks for checking out our blog!
